How did you decide which ear to implant?

The surgeon will help to make the decision as to which ear to implant.  Don't be shy about asking the team and your surgeon for as much explanation as you feel you need.

Jeremy: Typically the surgeon will wish to implant your 'best' ear in order to maximise the outcome. Sometimes clinical considerations determine the choice. Sometimes there is no 'best' ear in which case you will be offered the choice. Ask your surgeon what are the implications of your choice before you decide.
